Community Action Fund

The Federation of Tiny Township Shoreline Associations (FoTTSA) has established a “Community Action Fund”. This fund will be used to access resources and expertise required to aid our community in navigating complicated issues impacting our township.

Our current focus is on the Proposed Dynamic Beach Management Bylaw. In its current form, this proposed bylaw will impact shoreline property owner’s rights in Tiny.

Tiny’s Council has already spent tens of thousands of our tax dollars on drafting this highly restrictive bylaw, which overlaps other governance already in place regarding shoreline development. It simply adds significant costs to landowners for compliance, and additional administration/enforcement costs for the municipality, without any clear purpose or benefit.

Neighbours, we need to ACT NOW. With your contributions to this fund we will investigate and challenge significant issues impacting our community.

We are consulting daily with professionals in the fields of planning, construction, real estate and municipal affairs  We are committed to protecting the environment and defending the rights of our members, our communities and our future, so please send your contribution now to fottsatreasurer@gmail.com. Please include your current email address, and for FoTTSA members, your beach association, with your generous contribution.

We can also add you to our monthly FoTTSA Flash mailing list if you wish, keeping you up to date on important things happening in Tiny.
